Personal Information Collection
This site may collect and use the following kinds of personal information:
- At jjkress.com, you provide your name and email address. That is the only information we have for you and all we need to operate jjkress.com (“Website”) or the jjkress.com "The Lab" Membership (“Membership”);
- We use third third-party vendors, identified below, to help with delivery of the newsletter and processing of your payment. We never see any of your full credit card number or payment details, which are handled through Stripe.
Legal Basis for Collection of Information
The Website asserts the following legal grounds for the collection of data:
- Explicit Consent: When you sign up for the paid membership, you provide explicit consent for the Website to collect the above listed personal information.
- Contract: If you enter an agreement with the Website for the provision of services in exchange for payment, the Website will be required to collect the above listed personal information.
- Legitimate Interests: Finally, the Website may have additional legitimate interests for the collection of the above listed personal information.
Using Personal Information
The Website may use your personal information to:
- administer the Website and/or the Membership;
- personalize the website for you by displaying your name or changing the appearance of the website according to your settings if you log in;
- enable your access to and use of the website services;
- send to you the newsletter and/or account-related email;
- send to you statements and invoices; and
- collect payments from you; and
Where the Website discloses your personal information to its agents or sub-contractors for these purposes, the agent or sub-contractor in question will be obligated to use that personal information in accordance with the terms of this privacy statement. Except for the third-party vendors that collect your data separately when you sign up and pay, the Website has never shared any of its user data with any third parties.
In addition to the disclosures reasonably necessary for the purposes identified in this privacy policy, the Website may disclose your personal information to the extent that it is required to do so by law, in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings, and in order to establish, exercise or defend its legal rights.
Data Processors
The Website uses the following data processors with respect to the personal information collected:
- Memberful: Memberful manages all website membership details including your sign up and account maintenance. Memberful privacy policy. Emails concerning your membership are sent via Memberful.
- Stripe: Stripe manages all payment processing. Your credit card payment details are managed by Stripe and not released to Relay FM except the date and amount of each payment and the last four digits of your credit card. Stripe privacy policy.
- Netlify: This site is hosted on Netlify and uses Netlify Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics solution without using cookies, JavaScript or tracking pixels. In technical terms it's anonymised server logs, so as GDPR-compliant as it gets. You can find more information at Netlify Analytics and the Netlify Analytics Documentation.
